RED Informatics call on over 8 years of unique experience in health database design and integration via web services, web based database architecture and hosting (local & cloud, NHS, academic) often utilising Open Source Software to enable research insight & analytics or writing from scratch where needed.
The Director led the development of the BRISSKit integrated open source biomedical research software platform since 2011 through national funding, in partnership with the NHS and Academia, which was endorsed in 2015 by the NHS England Code4Health Apperta Challenge. The Director Dr Jonathan Tedds chairs the Medilink East Midlands Digital Health Special Interest Group and is President of the UK Chapter of the International Society for Digital Medicine as well as holding a senior academic position.
Clients include University College London NHS Trust & Partners, Royal Derby NHS Trust & Partners, Institute of Physics, University of Leicester on projects ranging from the 100,000 Genomes NHS Transformation Programme, architecting research survey databases and environmental health.
